Web Chat is an exciting addition to our suite of features, designed to enhance user communication and engagement. By combining the power of our shared Texting Inbox with our new Web Chat feature, we give users an easy way to start and continue conversations with new leads and existing clients. Web Chat is available to users who have purchased the Business Text add-on.
How Does Web Chat Work?
Web Chat operates through a customizable chat widget that can be tailored to match your brand’s colors and tone. By adding your customizations to the widget and adding our web chat embed code to your website, you will have a floating chat icon positioned at the bottom-right corner of every page on your site.
When a visitor comes to your website, they can click on this icon and fill out a brief form, which will initiate a text-based conversation with you. You will then receive a notification in your Fuse Texting Inbox, alerting you to the incoming chat from your website. The conversation will begin on your website and continue exclusively through text.
Note: If auto-response is enabled, there is no need to respond immediately. You can text the lead back at a time that works best for you.
