Syncing Conversations to AMS
How to sync recent conversations to your AMS
Note: Supported AMS Systems for Archiving: The sync functionality is compatible with the following systems for AMS Archiving: HawkSoft, AMS360, and QQ Catalyst.
Manually Syncing Conversations
To sync recent conversations to an Agency Management System (AMS), follow these steps:
- Select a Conversation:
- Choose the conversation you want to sync to your AMS.
- Navigate to the Conversation Header:
- Go to the top right corner of the conversation header.
- Select the Sync Icon:
- Click on the 🔄 icon to initiate the sync process.
- Confirm Sync:
- Click on “Understood” to confirm the sync.
- Prevent Future Pop-ups:
- If you wish to prevent the pop-up from showing again, select the ☑️ “Do not show this again” option.
- Observe Sync Status:
- Look at the note at the bottom of the conversation to see the timestamp of the latest sync.
Note: The sync feature is only available for Contacts. The Sync icon will not appear for numbers unrelated to a contact or deleted contacts.
Automatic Sync Settings:
- Navigate to Auto Sync Settings:
- Click on the Settings Gear Icon ⚙️ located in the top right corner.
- Select “All Settings” from the menu.
- Configure Texting Settings:
- Under “Texting”, choose “Auto Sync”.
- Enable or Disable Auto Sync:
- Enable the option and select the desired sync interval, or disable it as needed. The sync interval will also take into account minutes of inactivity.
Summaries
Summaries for archived conversations can also be written back to your AMS.
To enable summaries, in the Activity Data Sync settings, ensure "Messaging - Conversation" and "Messaging - Conversation Archived" are turned on.
