It's important to note that this method is compatible with integrations that support syncing secondary contacts to Fuse. This particularly benefits users with integrations that include additional fields at the contact level, such as description, occupation, etc.
Creating an Audience/Segment with Contact-level Rules:
- Begin by creating a segment that incorporates Contact-level rules:
- Go to Accounts on the left navigation menu.
- Then click “Add Segment.”
- In the Add New Rule pop-up, click “Advanced.”
- Select “Account” then, select “Contact.”
- Choose contact attributes like description, occupation, etc, and choose the value you want to target for those attributes (For example, you can establish a segment rule like "Account > Contact > Occupation is Doctor.").
Configuring Email to Send to Secondary Contacts:
- Once the segment is established, set up the email to be sent “TO: Secondary Contacts.”
- The email will exclusively reach Secondary Contacts that match the Contact-level rules stipulated in the segment.
