How do I customize fonts on my website?
The Forge website platform includes the full suite of Google Fonts, the leading host of open-source fonts for use on the web. We customize your website design to represent your unique agency brand. Using Google Fonts gives us maximum design flexibility while ensuring that your website displays correctly across all browsers and is accessible.
Increasing or decreasing the size of your website font.
If you’d like to change the size of your website font, just let us know. We can likely handle that as a routine update as long as the change does not impact the overall design or layout of your website. If changing the font size does impact the design or layout of your website, this might need to be scoped as a small, one-time project since we’ll need to dedicate additional resources to complete this work.
Changing the color of your website font.
If you’d like to change the color of your website font by lightening or darkening it, just let us know. Using custom fonts on your website.
Forge is built on a series of best-in-class frameworks and foundational code. However, there are certain limitations in order to help preserve the integrity of the platform and your website. Since adding custom fonts to your website can potentially impact the integrity of the platform, create display issues on certain browsers, and affect the accessibility of your website, we can’t make this change without negatively impacting our ability to maintain your website long-term. This is why we’re not able to incorporate custom fonts. However, our design team will do their best to closely match your preferred font type.
