Learn how to set up your Hawksoft AMS integration into Fuse.
Below, we will go step by step, both within Fuse and Hawksoft, to help you connect your Hawksoft management system data to the Fuse platform.
To begin, visit the Hawksoft list setup page by navigating to the Accounts section within your Agency Revolution dashboard. This is the icon showing people on the lefthand sidebar.
Once here, you will see a list of unchecked steps to complete to connect Hawksoft and Fuse together. Please follow the steps from top to bottom within Fuse and Hawksoft. The steps are outlined in detail below.
Connect to Hawksoft
Your first step is to click on the “Connect to Hawksoft” step within Fuse.
To get started, you’ll need to activate the integration from the HawkSoft Marketplace. If you do not have access to the Hawksoft Marketplace, the integration cannot be completed.
First, open your Hawksoft system. Select Marketplace from the Settings menu in the top right corner. This menu has a gear icon. Once within the Marketplace, find the Agency Revolution Fuse section. There will be two Fuse options and you’ll need to click on both, one at a time.
Within the first Fuse option, check off the Terms and Conditions box, and click “Share Data.” Complete this step for Fuse (W) as well–this second Fuse option enables writebacks into Hawksoft from Fuse.
If you are using Hawksoft V6: Click into the Fuse box and click “Share Data.” Then, click into Fuse (W) > “Share Data.” There should be green checks in both Fuse and Fuse (W) boxes.
Finally, enter your Customer ID into Fuse, as pictured below, and click the “CONFIRM” button.
Filter by Office
Once you’ve completed the “Connect to Hawksoft” step, please click on “Filter by Office” on the Hawksoft list setup page within Fuse.
This option will open up a new page to select which offices to sync to Fuse. Simply check the box for each office option. If you only have one office option, it is advised to still select “All Offices.”
After all boxes have been checked for offices from which to pull data, click the “Save Settings” button. Then, click the “Back” button to go back to the main Required Setup page on Fuse.
Employee Mapping
Finally, we will complete employee mapping and wrap up your sync! Select the “Employee Mapping” option from within the Hawksoft setup page.
Within the Employee Mapping page, you’ll be able to select the Default User for your sync between Hawksoft and Fuse, as well as map your Hawksoft employee codes to Fuse.
You will have to determine who the Default User should be within Fuse. If there is an old employee who is no longer with the company, or there is an issue wherein an account in your Hawksoft system doesn’t have a linked producer or rep, this selected user will be the default user from which Fuse sends emails. Think of the Default User as your failsafe.
There are two different sets of Producer and Account Reps in Fuse. One is on the Account level and the second is for each policy assignment. Fuse will automatically use the Producer and CSR assigned to each account in Hawksoft for the Account-level Producer and Account-level Account Rep assignments.
However, since there are multiple options for policy-level assignments you will need to map the Producer and Account Rep fields to any one of the Agent fields from Hawksoft. By default, Agent1 will be used for the Policy Producer Field and Agent2 will be used for the Policy Account Rep.
Once you are done mapping employees–and don’t worry, it takes a few minutes for all your employee data to load into Fuse–click the “Finish” button on the bottom of your screen.
Congratulations! Your Hawksoft integration with Fuse is complete! Hawksoft will sync with Fuse four times daily, these times are 5 PM, 11 PM, 5 PM, and 11 AM PT, going forward. You do not need to keep any windows open for this sync to occur. Magic!
