How to Use the Next Renewal Date Field in Fuse

Learn how to create effective policy campaigns by leveraging the “Next Renewal Date” field within Fuse.

The “Next Renewal Date” field is available for building campaigns, regardless of which AMS you have integrated with Fuse.

What is the “Next Renewal Date” Field?

The “Next Renewal Date” field allows you to anchor account date sequence steps specifically to the next upcoming policy renewal date. Now, you can easily create campaigns that send policy renewal-related messages up to the renewal date, even if the policy has been renewed before that date is reached.

Accessing the “Next Renewal Date” Field

To anchor the steps in a Fuse campaign sequence to the “Next Renewal Date” field, first navigate to the “Marketing” tab within your Fuse workspace. Then, select the “Custom Campaigns” section and create a new custom campaign.

You’ll want to create an Account Date-based sequence within your new custom campaign, add the segment as you would normally, and then click on “Choose Fields” to anchor the sequence. You’ll want to anchor the steps to “Policy > Next Renewal Date.”

Best Practices

While you can continue to use any policy-based campaigns tied to your customers’ expiration date, our recommendation is to use the “Next Renewal Date” field for all campaigns tied specifically to a policy’s upcoming renewal, which has steps that are intended to run even if an early renewal has already occurred.
